Attacks on Bikisra'il & Jaririn

Summary:
Niketas of Mistheia, after taking and refortifying al-Maniqa, moved on to Bikisra'il, offering his prisoners from al-Maniqa in return for its surrender. The terms were rejected. As it was mid-winter, he left, vowing to return. On the way to Antioch he burned Jaririn, which was used by the people of Apamea to attack Roman territory. He asked his new ally, Nasr ibn Salih of Aleppo, to take over the place, which he did

  • Made a detour on his way from Bikisra'il to Antioch, set fire to Jaririn which was used by the people of Apamea to attack Rum territory, captured many prisoners there, returned to Antioch, and sent orders to Nasr 101 to occupy Jaririn (:) كان أهل حصن أفامية يجعمون جموعًا فى ضيعة كبيرة آهلة ...
