Summary:
Isaakios (I), once joined by all his fellow-rebels, felt secure and handed his wife Aikaterine and valuables to his brother Ioannes, whom he sent to the fort of Pemolissa. He crossed the Sangarios with his army and marched onwards amidst praise and acclaim
