Chrysobull of Konstantinos X confirming for Lavra earlier chrysobulls of Konstantinos VII & Konstantinos IX

Summary:
Konstantinos X was presented by the monks of Lavra with chrysobulls of Konstantinos VII and Konstantinos IX with stipulations concerning the metochion of Hagios Andreas and the guardianship of the epi tou kanikleiou. He confirmed these in a new chrysobull which he signed. This was probably the chysobull which Michael VII was later asked to confirm

  • Was presented by the monks of Lavra with chrysobulls of Konstantinos 7 and Konstantinos 9 whose stipulations concerning the metochion of Hagios Andreas and the guardianship of the epi tou kanikleiou he confirmed in a chrysobull which he signed (In the month of June of the 13th indiction in the year 6568 (1060):κατὰ τὸν ιύνιον μῆνα τῆς τρισκαιδεκάτης ἰνδικτιῶνος, ἐν ἔτει τῶ ἑξακισχιλιοστῶ πεντακοσιοστῶ ἑξηκοστῶ ὀγδόω) ἐπικυροῖ γὰρ ταῦτα ἡ βασιλεία μου καὶ ἐπισφραγίζει καὶ ἐπιβεβαιοῖ Lavra 197.25-198.127
