The mulberry trees of a poor friend were stolen by a neighbour; he petitioned the emperor & Psellos, who both asked the krites to help

Summary:
A poor man, rich for the krites of Opsikion in Psellos' friendship, was wronged by a neighbour, who stole his mulberry grove. The victim appealed to the emperor, who wrote to the krites for help. The man also appealed to Psellos, who advised the krites to fine the guilty man (to cover losses) and write a report to stop him re-offending. This would all be in the imperial letter - but Psellos added the sanction of friendship
