Psellos asked for the quick renewal of a convent's sigillion; one Eve had beaten Adam, but he faced a whole convent

Summary:
The nuns of Sakelline demanded that he renew their sigillion, and he applied to the protoasekretis, comparing the latter's masculine Roman identity with the feminine Persian ways of the nuns. He could defeat them, but in a black victory. Adam was deceived by one Eve, but Psellos, a weak, soft man, asked for salvation facing a convent of nuns. If the sigillion was not written soon, the rot would set in and extend to the protoasekretis
