  • Assumed the leadership of Robert 101's troops after the latter's death, was together with Isaakios 61 and Alexios 1 in Cappadocia and looked for a convincing pretext to carry out openly the rebellion he had been planning (:) συνετρίβετο τούτοις καὶ ὁ Φράγγος Οὐρσέλιος...ἐζήτει δὲ πρόφασιν εὑρεῖν εὐλογοφανῆ ὥστε ἢν πάλαι ὤδινεν ἀποστασίαν εἰς τοὐμφανὲς ἀγαγεῖν Bryennios 147.23-149.
