Summary:
He died, to be mourned by his wife, Zoe Komnene, and their child Anna Botaneiataina Doukaina Komnene. The text works out detailed relationships of the family to three imperial houses

  • He spoke to God the second verse of his epitaph, thanking him for many blessings, which he listed - his own high family, his high-born Zoe 25001, their daughter Anna 25002; but fate had brought death, so he could only pray that they be reunited in the next life (:) Prodromos, Historische Gedichte LX.b
