Conrad refused Manuel's offer of alliance, but accepted gifts & guides & left (Kinnamos)

Summary:
Manuel bribed some of the army of Conrad III to cause trouble and humiliate him. Conrad requested a guide, and Manuel sent Stephanos the akolouthos, who also delivered a proposal for an alliance against the Turks, which was rejected. Manuel gave Conrad some swift horses, which he soon lost
