Eighteen monks from the Athos monastery of Philotheou asked Nikephoros, hegoumenos of Lavra and protos of Athos, to approve the exchange of a property at Kalyka (where Lavra owned a metochion), too distant from Philotheou and threatened by pirates, with the nearby Lavra property of Chaldou. When Nikephoros accepted the proposal, Hilarion, an Athonite monk & scribe, wrote and signed a document confirming the exchange. This document was also signed by the abovementioned monks from Philotheou, together with Nikephoros and five hegoumenoi of different Athonite houses
