Bribed some Cuman mercenaries to start a fight at Manuel 1's tent, but was betrayed by a young servant (Anonymus 17072) who told the eunuch Thomas 17004; Manuel was convinced by observing the Cumans and he was arrested (:) Σκυθῶν ὅμιλος Kinnamos 268.22
Manuel 1 sent Ioannes 17015, Michael 17006, Thomas 17004 and Nikephoros 17007 to judge him, and they offered him a choice of three charges; he admitted guilt to all three, asked for tonsure and communion, and gave himself up to justice (:) Kinnamos 269.14-22
