Baldwin II, as regent of Antioch, showed gratitude to the rulers of Shayzar

Summary:
Baldwin II had an old obligation towards the rulers of Shayzar, 'Izz al-Din Abu l-'Asakir Sultan and Majd al-Din Abu Salama Murshid. This dated from the time when he was brought to Shayzar during the negotiations over his ransom. When Baldwin became the regent of Antioch, he remembered this obligation, and exempted Shayzar from the payment of indemnity
