Summary:
Before the arrival of Raymond of Poitiers, Alice returned to Antioch from her estates, and with the support of a party of nobles, began to act as sovreign. She had persuaded her sister Melisende to gain Fulk's agreement not to intervene if she took over Antioch. She was tricked by Radulf of Domfront into thinking that Raymond was coming to marry her
