Death & burial of Konstantinos X; succeeded by his wife Eudokia Makrembolitissa

Summary:
After the death of Konstantinos X, Eudokia took over the rule of the empire with her young sons, Michael VII and Konstantios. She had given the decased Konstantinos X a written oath that she would not remarry.
